Review: Organix Moroccan Argan Oil

My hair had been desperately asking for some type of shine serum or oil so I decided to pick up the Organix Moroccan Argan Oil.

This hair penetrating oil isn’t pure argan oil but it does have a blend of it, which still provides your hair with the many benefits of argan oil.

It claims to penetrate the hair shaft restoring shine and softenss. Well I must say this does leave my hair shiny AND soft! I love applying this oil and waiting for my hair to dry into soft and silky tresses. Not only that, but it also leaves your hair shiny not to mention the nice scent that lingers for a while.

How I apply it:

I will usually just add this to damp hair as the last styling product I will use. If I straighten my hair then I will also add a bit to the ends of it once I’m done with the flat iron for added softenss.

Texture:

When you feel this oil on your hands you might think it’s a bit thick but once you rub them together and add this in you will see that it is actually quite light and doesn’t leave a greasy feeling at all.

Veredict:

I think this is an amazing product for a great price! I’m not saying this is like those expensive pura argan oils you can get at salons, but it is by far the best drugstore hair oil I have tried in a while! If soft and shiny hair is something you are looking for then give this a try!

The Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil gets :

A 5 on the Sweet Scale!

Easy cheap way to get soft, shiny hair!

If you read my blog then you know I love all types of hair treatment for your hair using ingredient from kitchen. I find that they are much more potent than most store bought hair treatment and they deliver better results for me.

The latest thing I have tried for my hair is mayo!

Yes you read that right; I have been putting mayonnaise in my hair! I decided to try this out after reading an article about repairing damaged hair wit mayo. Looking at the ingredient in it you can see why this product can be beneficial for your hair. First of all it has eggs. Eggs are a great source of protein so putting it in your hair will add strength and help you if you are dealing with fragile or damaged hair. Mayo also has vinegar and oil which will add amazing shine to your hair. This was actually a very popular hair mask back in the 1950’s!

So if you have decided to discover the amazing things mayo can do for your hair you have two options. You can use store-bought mayo or you can make it yourself. So far I have only used store-bought but I really want to try making it myself. I’m thinking of making a video on how to make it, let me know if you would be interested in that ;) . I would really like to do a comparison between both options to find out if one or the other works best on my hair.

All you need to do is apply about ¼ cup of mayonnaise to your hair. Leave it in for at least 30 minutes. Rinse out really well. Enjoy soft, shiny, strengthened hair!

I would really recommend this for anyone with dry or damaged hair, I probably wouldn’t try this for oily hair.

Warnings:

· The store-bought kind smells really funky! I felt really weird putting in my hair the first time but then I just got use to it. And don’t worry because the smell come out once you wash it off.

· If you leave this on for a while you will see that your strands get kind of hard, it’s because of the egg but again don’t worry your hair will be fine once you wash it out.

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Soft, Shiny, Hidrated Hair!

So I am going to share one of my favorite homemade deep conditioners ever!
It's amazing. I actually made it today and left it in my hair for about 40 minutes. I am not kidding when I say I have never felt my hair soooo soft! It is also increadibly shiny. This mask is ultra hydrating so it's perfect for dry hair like mine. I recommend doing this mask once a week to get lasting results.

What you will need:
Half of a very ripe avocado

One medium sized banana
A tablespoon of honey
A tablespoon of fresh natural aloe vera (gel or juice)
A tablespoon of almond oil

Mix everything together. I would really recommend you put your mixture through a strainer to get rid of the clumps and little pieces of banana or avocado since these tend to be very hard to remove from your hair. If you strain it it will perfectly pureed and you won't have that problem.

The reason why this hair treatment works so well it because of the mix of ingredients. The avocado, aloe vera and almond oil will give you moisture. The honey gives you amazing shine and the banana is great at making your hair soft and silky.

Give this a try, your hair will thank you!

Spotlight on: Almond oil

I consider almond oil as one of my great beauty secrets! The best part about it is its many uses. Almond oil definitely deserves this spotlight!

Lets start of with using this oil in your hair. There are many different ways to apply almond oil into your hair depending on the effect you are looking for.
You could use it for an extremly hidrating hot oil treatment.

Hot (almond) oil treatment:
Warm up 1/2 cup of almond and massage it into your scalp. Make sure your hair is damp. Wrap your head in a warm towel or a shower cap. Leave on for 20 minutes and then shampoo and rinse out.
To make this even more hidrating try adding 1/4 cup of olive oil to the mix.

Results: You get unbelieveably silky, soft hair. It's amazing!

You could also use this on the ends of your hair. I use to do this to conceal my split ends before I cut them of. It's great because it makes your ends soooo soft its like you don't even have damaged ends.

Another great way I use almond oil in my hair is adding it as a bonus to any hair mask I use. Whether it's an avocado or a yogurt hair mask I always add about a tablespoon of the oil to it to make it even better!

Almond oil on the skin:
Do you want soft, Incredible looking legs? You need to use almond oil!
I sometimes use it alone or over body lotion, or even mixing half almond oil and half body lotion.
You will get the softest legs ever! And like if that wasn't enough they get this radant shine that I have never gotten using any body lotion.

Almond oil as an eye makeup remover:
This is my ultimate favorite way to remove my eye makeup....even water proof mascara!
All I do is dab a bit of the oil on a cotton ball and just swipe away all the makeup.

So almond oil is pretty amazing! I love it and it is totally one of my can't live without products!
If you have never used it you need to get some and try it out whether it's on your hair or skin. And if you have tried it I would love to know what you think of it!
